A Nigerian scholar, Adisa Blessing Oluwafikayo, has secured a fully funded scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Calabria, Italy.
Oluwafikayo, a graduate of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), finished with a first-class honours degree, recording an impressive cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.76 on a 5.0 scale.
She disclosed this in a post shared on Saturday via her X handle, where she expressed excitement over the academic milestone while also appealing for support from Nigerians to help actualise her study plans.
Despite securing the scholarship, Oluwafikayo called on well-meaning Nigerians for assistance to ensure a smooth transition as she prepares to further her education abroad.
“Help Make My Scholarship Dream Come True,” she wrote.
“I’m Adisa Blessing Oluwafikayo, a First-Class Mathematics graduate (CGPA: 4.76/5.0) from UNILORIN.
“I’m happy to have been awarded a fully funded Master’s scholarship in Mathematics at the University of Calabria, Italy.”
