The man who made the satanic film about Prophet Muhammad that has sparked outrage around the world has hinted that he may also produce one on Jesus Christ.
The man, who goes by the pseudonym Sam Bacile but has been unmasked as Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a convicted fraudster, told Associated Press that after the devastating September 11, 2011 terrorist attacks on America co-ordinated by the late Osama bin Ladin, no issue under the sun should be considered out of bounds.
“The main problem is I am the first one to put on the screen someone who is (portraying) Muhammad. It makes them mad,” Bacile told Associated Press in an interview. “But we have to open the door. After 9/11 everybody should be in front of the judge, even Jesus, even Muhammad,” he added.
News Express reports that Bacile’s controversial movie entitled Innocence of Muslims, which is produced in California and is being promoted by an extreme anti-Muslim Egyptian Christian campaigner in America, has led to protests in about a dozen countries, including Nigeria.
At least ten people lost their lives in the protests which started Tuesday in Libya and Egypt, escalating the next day, resulting in the killing of the US Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three other diplomats during an attack on the American mission in Benghazi.
