Award-winning Alamin Ademide Dada

A Nigerian development professional, Alamin Ademide Dada, has graduated with Distinction in the Master of Rural Development programme at Brandon University, Manitoba, Canada.
Dada completed the postgraduate programme in May 2026, adding another academic milestone to a career that has spanned government institutions, academia and international development organisations.
A graduate of Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Abuja, Dada has built professional experience in areas relating to spatial analysis, community development, rural policy and sustainable development.
His career has included engagements with the Obasanjo Space Centre, the Nigerian Defence Space Administration, GIZ Nigeria and the Rural Development Institute of Brandon University.
According to a statement by Techpatriate Services International, Dada's academic and professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to addressing development challenges facing rural communities.
The statement noted that his work has focused on bridging gaps between policy formulation, infrastructure development and the practical realities confronting people in underserved communities.
Dada's areas of expertise include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, stakeholder engagement, community development, rural policy and sustainable development.
His graduation with Distinction, the statement added, reflects years of dedication to academic excellence and professional growth.
Beyond his academic success, Dada was also recognised with an Excellence Award while serving as an international student staff member during his studies in Canada.
The recognition, according to the statement, underscored his commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in the workplace.
