Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr Daniel Olukoya, has joined millions of Nigerians to lead a special prayer session, seeking God’s intervention over the growing insecurity and recent abductions affecting parts of the country.
The prayer session was held during the church’s June edition of Power Must Change Hand (PMCH) programme at Prayer City, Ibadan-Lagos expressway on Saturday.
It comes at a time the nation is facing worsening security challenges, including the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire area of Oyo, and rising terrorist attacks across the country.
Olukoya urged the congregation to join him by saying a 10-fold of Amen as he made some powerful declarations against the terrorists while praying for peace to reign in the country.
The special prayer lasted about three minutes and focused on peace, safety, and protection for the citizens.
With insecurity on the rise, MFM becomes one of the churches taking spiritual and security measures to mobilise citizens.
MFM’s Olukoya Leads Special Prayer Against Terrorism in Nigeria
The Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Daniel Olukoya, has led a special prayer session for peace and security in Nigeria amid growing concerns over insecurity, terrorism, and recent abductions in parts of the country.
The prayer session took place during the June edition of the church’s Power Must Change Hand (PMCH) programme at Prayer City along the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway on Saturday.
The initiative comes against the backdrop of worsening security challenges nationwide, including the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in the Oriire area of Oyo State, as well as renewed terrorist attacks in several parts of the country.
During the programme, Olukoya called on worshippers to respond with a ten-fold “Amen” as he made a series of fervent declarations against terrorism and violence, while praying for divine protection, peace, and stability across the nation.
The special prayer session, which lasted about three minutes, focused on the safety of citizens, national peace, and God’s intervention in Nigeria’s security situation.
As insecurity continues to pose significant challenges across the country, MFM joins other faith-based organisations in mobilising worshippers through prayers and other initiatives aimed at promoting peace and national unity. (TRIBUNE)
