A man identified as Adegoke Tee has been arrested following an incident that led to the death of two policemen in Osun State.

The Nation reports that two policemen, Lance Corporal Oluwatobiloba Odedina and his colleague, Kehinde Adeleke were crushed to death at Oogi community in Ayedaade local government area of Osun State while they were on their way home from an official duty.

Meanwhile, the holidaymaker who drove a Lexus car abandoned the car and fled the scene to avoid being lynched.

The Nation gathered that subsequently, the police launched a manhunt after driver and he was eventually arrested on Friday.

Confirming the arrest, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that one Adegoke was arrested and the matter was transferred to the Traffic Unit in Osogbo. (The Nation)
