Nigerian actress, Kate Henshaw, has spoken about the change in her relationship with fellow Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji.

Speaking during an appearance on the Tea with Tay podcast, Kate Henshaw reflected on how she and Genevieve Nnaji were once very close and often attended events together in the Nigerian film industry.

According to Kate Henshaw, their friendship gradually faded over the years without a clear explanation. She said she still does not fully understand what caused the distance between them.

The actress explained that there may have been issues related to trust, but she could not say for certain what went wrong.

She added that many people expect a clear reason when friendships change, but in her case, she was left with more questions than answers.

Kate Henshaw also noted that despite the distance between them, she has moved on from the situation.

She said, “We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know. But years ago when Netflix first came into Nigeria, we were close, we used to go to events together, then there was that gap. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her, but I’ve moved on”
