Late actress Beverly Afaglo
The Ghanaian movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular actress, Beverly Afaglo Baah, whose passing was confirmed on Sunday, by her husband and musician, Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, just four days before her birthday.
Choirmaster announced the news in an emotional Instagram post, describing Beverly as his strength, happiness and greatest supporter.
Reflecting on their life together, the musician said every moment spent with the actress was a blessing he would always cherish.
He also vowed to continue the plans and projects they had started together, assuring that her memory would remain with him forever.
The husband wrote, “My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo!!! It would have been just like 4 More days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so he called you.
“You were my strength, My Happiness, and the reason my life felt Complete. Every Moment with you was a blessing I will Cherish Forever !!
“I am hearing your voice right Now Cheering me up as always my Number one fan!! I promise to take care and continue everything we planned and started !! Until my last breath, you will remain in My Heart ❤️ Forever!!! Sleep well my babe!!! R. I. P to a #Legend Sesei Akaminkoaaaa.”
Beverly Afaglo was born on May 28, 1983, and became known in the Ghanaian movie industry after studying journalism and public relations at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
