Zone 2 AIG Moshood Olohundare Jimoh
The Anti-Cult Alliance Movement (ACAM) has launched a blistering attack on the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, AIG Moshood Olohundare Jimoh, after police invited a nursing mother for questioning over a TikTok video criticizing a school textbook.
In a strongly-worded press statement released Tuesday and obtained by News Express, ACAM demanded that AIG Jimoh immediately withdraw what it called a “shameful invitation” issued to Maryqueen Udoka, a Lagos businesswoman and mother of two, and cease all harassment of her family.
“You are not wearing that uniform to hunt mothers. You are not in Zone 2 to enforce silence,” ACAM National Coordinator Akin Okunowo declared in the statement titled: “YOU ARE NOT HITMEN FOR CRIMINAL PUBLISHERS — LEAVE MARQUEEN UDOKA ALONE OR FACE THE PEOPLE!” ACAM told the police chief.
From School Assignment To Police Hunt
According to ACAM, Udoka’s ordeal began on March 22, 2026, when she helped her 5-year-old son, Chidalu, with homework and read a passage from his government-approved textbook.
The story, she said, described, “One old man loves the dog… put a rod iron in fire and put the hot iron into the dog’s nose… Then the dog ran mad and ran away from home. That’s all the story. There was no single moral lesson there.”
Disturbed, Udoka complained to the school. She said management told her: “It was the government that approved the story for children. There’s nothing they can do.”
She then posted two passages on TikTok asking followers: “Am I overthinking it?” Nigerians flooded her comments, saying the book was inappropriate and promoted violence for a 5-year-old.
Threats, Tracked Phone, Arrested Neighbours
ACAM said what followed was a campaign of intimidation.
1. Barrage of DMs and calls threatening harm if she didn’t delete the video.
2. Her phone number was harvested online and callers demanded her location.
3. A man claiming to be “police man from Zone 2” threatened her.
4. A lawyer with phone number 07067691819 demanded she take down the video.
Udoka complied, set her account to private, and deleted the video on March 25. But the threats continued. “They told her to run away from Nigeria is better for her safety,” ACAM stated. When her sister contacted the lawyer, he allegedly replied: “Oh, she still has mouth to talk?”
Terrified, Udoka switched off her phone for over two weeks.
The Zone 2 Invitation
On April 11, she turned her phone on and found a police invitation sent via 08151388560. The letter invited her to “interview AIG in charge of Zone 2 Command and the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Zone 2 through one CSP Obiazikwor Samuel attached to D19 Section (ZCID) with GSM number 08033306964 on Monday, April 13, 2026 by 10 am in connection with a case under investigation.”
Udoka said she messaged the officer to explain she couldn’t attend. No response. On April 13, her 9-month-old son Jason was sick and she was home alone. She missed the appointment.
Days later, her husband informed her that police had stormed their home and arrested her neighbours and other associates. “They pretended like customers to them and arrested them that they should provide her,” ACAM quoted her as saying.
“That means if she had gone to the station for the invitation, they would have arrested her as it all turned out to be a set up,” ACAM alleged.
Udoka broke her silence on April 24: “The situation had gone far beyond my control and I am now scared for my life. Please, help me.”
ACAM To AIG Jimoh: ‘You Have Turned Zone 2 Into A Laughing Stock’
The group accused AIG Jimoh and CSP Obiazikwor Samuel of abuse of office, asking: “Since when did Zone 2 Command become a customer care center for criminal publishers or their agents? Is D19 now the ‘Defamation Department’ for the rich?”
“What crime did she commit? Reading? Parenting? Asking questions? If complaining about violence is a crime, then arrest the entire country,” the statement read.
ACAM further slammed the government’s approval of the textbook, stating: “A government that appointed Mandykiss as a youth ambassador to fight drug abuse has no good sense of scrutinizing books for children. No wonder they are teaching secondary school children that Pyrates Confraternity is not a cult.
“When notorious cultists are in positions of power today… when dirty politicians, family, friends and associates of people in power are put in positions of administration of education in Nigeria — of course, this kind of nonsense will be the order of the day.”
8-Point Demand To AIG Zone 2
ACAM issued eight demands to AIG Moshood Olohundare Jimoh:
1. Withdraw the invitation immediately — “Reading to your child is not cyberstalking.”
2. Tender a public apology for illegal arrests and trauma to innocent neighbours.
3. Suspend and investigate CSP Obiazikwor Samuel and other officers involved.
4. Explain who owns 08151388560 and take action.
5. Provide written guarantee of her safety.
6. Ban Zone 2 from entertaining civil complaints. “Zone 2 is not a law firm.”
7. Investigate Education Ministry and NERDC for approving violent content for 5-year-olds.
8. Arrest all who threatened Maryqueen Udoka — “No mercy for the wicked.”
“If you touch one hair on Maryqueen Udoka or her children, we will occupy Zone 2 and make you pay dearly for it,” ACAM warned. “We will drag you to the Police Service Commission, National Human Rights Commission, and International Criminal Court… Police uniform is not an immunity to commit crime.”
“Leave that woman alone. Go after the cultists killing Lagos,” the statement concluded.
ACAM said any police officer who approaches Udoka without a valid court warrant “will be livestreamed to the world.”
