The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Sunday, October 30, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over Sokoto, Katsina, Gusau, Kano, Dutse and Maiduguri in the morning and afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over the area in the morning except Jalingo, Yola and Ibi with chances of localised thunderstorms. The central cities including FCT, Makurdi, Lokoja and Lafia are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 31 – 34°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the inland and the entire coast in the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the coast and the inland cities including Lagos, Port- Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket and Benin, Ibadan, Oshogbo, Akure, Awka and Enugu in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33°C.
