Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has claimed that six politicians who sought his prayers ahead of the 2023 general elections went on to win their respective contests.

The film icon made the assertion while receiving popular streamer, Peller, who paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Enugu State.

Recalling the incident, the actor said the politicians had visited him with gifts and requested his spiritual support before the polls.

“Two years ago, six people that were running for political offices came to my house, they brought me a big ram and Kolanuts, I prayed for them and they all won their elections,” he said.

Edochie further expressed gratitude to God, stating that his prayers had consistently been answered.

He noted that he is grateful to God because “each time I make a request from God, he always grants it.

He added, “All the people I have prayed for have all succeeded in everything I have prayed for them for.”

The veteran actor also prayed for Peller during the visit and wished him success in his career. (TRIBUNE)
