The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Thursday October 27, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions with horizontal visibility ranging from 2 – 5km will prevail over the northern region both in the morning and afternoon hours. However, few places such as Maiduguri, Nguru, Potiskum, Kano and Katsina will likely have visibilities less

than or equal to 1,000m. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38°C.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over this entire region during the morning hours with chances of having sunny and hazy skies later in the day. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 35°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the entire southern states in the morning with prospects of isolated rains and showers over the southeastern cities including the coast in the afternoon. However, the southwestern region is expected to still be partly cloudy in the afternoon/evening period. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 32 – 35°C.
