The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Friday, October 21, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny situation are expected over places like Sokoto, Yelwa, and Kebbi while sunny and hazy condition are not unlikely over Katsina, Kano, Nguru and Maiduguri axis during the forecast period. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated with prospects of early morning isolated thunderstorms over Jalingo, Minna, Makurdi, Ilorin and Mambilla region. Localised thundery showers are not also unlikely over the high ground areas of the region such as Abuja, Lokoja, Lafia and Bida during the evening/night hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 29 – 33°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Increased cloudiness in the morning with probability of localised rains over places such as Calabar, Enugu, Ado Ekiti and Akure. There are chances of localised thunderstorms/rain showers over most cities in the region during afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33°C.
