Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila celebrates mother
Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has marked Valentine’s Day by presenting a bouquet of flowers to his almost 96-year-old mother, Alhaja Lateefat Olufunke Gbajabiamila.
In a heartwarming video shared on his verified X handle on Saturday, Gbajabiamila was seen walking into his mother’s room while she lay resting on her bed, holding a bunch of roses. Smiling warmly, he greeted her with the words, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” before embracing her with a hug and a kiss.
Presenting the flowers, he added affectionately, “Your flowers, lovely roses,” as his mother received the gesture with visible joy.
Accompanying the video, Gbajabiamila wrote on X: “Happy Valentine’s Day, Mama. Two weeks before your 96th birthday, you are still the heart of our family. These flowers are only a tiny thank you for a lifetime of love and sacrifice.”
Valentine’s Day, celebrated annually on February 14, is traditionally observed as a time to express love and appreciation among loved ones, a sentiment Gbajabiamila’s gesture clearly reflected.
The touching gesture by Gbajabiamila has since attracted positive reactions online, with many praising the strong bond between mother and son and describing the moment as a reminder of the enduring power of family love. (LEADERSHIP)
