The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Saturday, October 15, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the entire North in the morning and the afternoon/evening hours except placing like southern Maiduguri, Gombe, Yola, Yelwa and Southern Sokoto axis which will experience localised thunderstorms. Day time temperatures over this region should be in the range of 35 – 38°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Thunderstorm is expected over some parts of Abuja and Lafia axis of the central cities in the morning hours. Later in the day, cloudy condition is expected with chances of isolated thunderstorms to cover the high grounds of the central states. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32 – 34oC, except Jos and Mambila Plateau which are likely to be 28°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Isolated thunderstorms and rains are expected over the entire inland cities and coastal cities in the morning hours. Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of isolated rain over the inland of southwest why the coastal cities would be affected by rain showers in the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31 – 34°C.
