Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved a minor reshuffle in his cabinet with the removal of the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima.
The decision, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement made available to journalists in the early hours of Monday.
The statement was signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado.
According to the statement, the cabinet adjustment underscores the administration’s resolve to periodically introduce changes aimed at injecting fresh ideas into governance, strengthening service delivery, and repositioning the cabinet for the effective implementation of government policies and programmes across the state.
Governor Mohammed expressed his appreciation to Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima for his services to Bauchi State and wished him success in his future endeavours.
He further reassured the people of the state of his administration’s unwavering commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
The statement added that a replacement for the relieved commissioner would be announced in due course.
