The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today,Monday October 10, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the entire region in the morning. Sunny conditions are anticipated over the area in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Morning thunderstorms are expected over FCT, Kaduna, Bauchi, Mambilla and Lafia axis. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over the high grounds of the central cities including Abuja, Lafia, Bida, Kaduna and Jos in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are likely over the southeast with chances of isolated rains over the southwest coast in the morning. There are prospects of isolated rains especially over places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Eket, Benin, Ibadan, Akure, Enugu and Awka in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 32°C.
