Prolonged disruption often leads to increased operational costs for airlines, including crew overtime, fuel inefficiencies, and passenger care expenses. Revenue impacts may occur due to missed connections, reduced aircraft utilization, and customer dissatisfaction. Over time, repeated disruption can affect booking confidence, loyalty metrics, and network planning decisions, especially at high-traffic hubs.
Cancellations today are concentrated among IndiGO, Pegasus Airlines, Air China, FlyDubai, Qatar Airways, and Mahan Air, with India, China, Turkey, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates emerging as the most affected countries.
