Ghanaian self-proclaimed prophet, Ebo Noah, has finished building a modern-day Noah’s Ark, claiming that a three-year global flood will start on Christmas Day.
He said God instructed him to construct the ark to shelter believers during the deluge.
According to reports, about 380,000 followers have gathered and are praying, waiting to board in what they believe are the final hours before the world resets.
Ebo Noah’s prediction has sparked controversy in the media, with some critics pointing out that it contradicts the biblical promise in Genesis 9:11, where God vows never to destroy the earth with a flood again.
Reacting to it on social media, Noah Christopher (@DailyNoahNews) said, “OMG….Bro literally could have just read Genesis and avoided all this nonsense:
Genesis 9:11 (ESV) “I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”…
Daniela Collins (@romans11732), who described the Ghanaian Noah as a fake prophet, alleged that he recently bought himself a Mercedes Benz.
“I shared this a few days ago from an African news source. Apparently, this modern day ‘Noah’ , a false prophet obviously, just bought himself a brand new Mercedes. Odd. Will he take it into his ‘ark’? Also, in the Old Testament, God promised to never destroy the earth by a flood…
“Some Ghanaians reportedly hurried to Ebo Noah’s Ark after heavy rain poured nonstop for a full day, gripped by fears that the end of the world had come.
“Ebo Noah had previously warned that on December 25th, God might once again destroy the world with water.
“Yesterday, intense…” an X user, Szymanski (@Szymansk_ii), said.
For Jon Benjamin, the development shows the prophet needed profit.
“Eboh Noah him not be a goer
Him big plan getting slower
Dem flood not rise, but getting lower
Him need Obinim on the blower
Give him tithe, be a sower
Ark need Sark, like lawn need mower
Ark need Shatta, like mighty rower
‘Prophet’ need profit, or him going to owe-ahhh#EboNoah”
Others have questioned the practicality of the arks, citing the lack of engines, steering systems, and durability to withstand prolonged flooding.
Despite the criticism, Ebo Noah remains steadfast, claiming that the ark is 80% complete and will serve as a refuge for those who have a covenant with God. He has also announced plans to build additional arks to accommodate more people.
Interestingly, in a shared viral X video, Ebo Noah recently withdrew his prediction, stating that God has answered prayers and postponed the rains and floods.
He now claims to have a new divine vision, focusing on expanding the existing arks and building more to accommodate everyone seeking salvation.
The announcement comes a few hours after viral videos showed groups of people carrying personal belongings and moving toward locations believed to be linked to the arks, following widespread anxiety generated by the original prophecy.
In the viral video, Ebo said: “Still, I’m Ebo Noah, God reveals to redeem. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated and I have built.
“And through my prayers, I got another vision, and in the vision, when you look at the number of people coming all over the country, all the world into the ark, the expansion of the ark couldn’t contain them, so I shared my vision to some great men of God who also interceded with me.
“After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks in addition to the ten that will contain all of us.
“So, tomorrow, nobody should rush to any location. I’m not selling any tickets, I’m not taking money from anyone also.
“So please, stay home, enjoy yourself, have fun, and also, I’m wishing all of you Merry Christmas and happy new year. Still, the ark is there. Repent!!! God bless you”.
Public reaction to the latest development has been mixed, with some followers expressing relief, while critics point to the reversal as further evidence of inconsistency in the prophecy. (TRIBUNE)
