
Governor Soludo
Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, is on course for re-election. He has taken a strong lead in Saturday’s governorship election, according to official figures so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The commission is presently collating results from local government councils. The exercise started around 2:10 a.m. this Sunday, November 9, 2025, when INEC officials, observers, journalists and others stakeholders gathered at the commission’s headquarters in Awka, the state capital. Soludo is leading with a wide margin as collation of results continues. Below are results announced by INEC as at the time of this report:
