The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Tuesday, September 13, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are expected over Sokoto, Gusau, Kano, Kaduna, Potiskum, Dutse, Gombe, Nguru and Katsina in the morning and afternoon hours. Maximum temperature for the day are expected to be in the range of 28-31°C.

CENTRAL STATES: Morning thunderstorm is expected over Abuja, Makurdi, Ibi, Yola and Mambila axis. There are chances of thunderstorm over Ilorin, Bida, Minna and Lokoja in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 24-30°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Morning cloudiness is anticipated in the coastal and inland cities of the southwest with chances of thunderstorm over Ijebu-Ode, Benin, Warri, Calabar, Port-Harcourt, Ikom, Uyo, Enugu, Owerri and Asaba. Thunderstorms are expected over, Awka, Warri, Port-Harcourt, Eket, Calabar, Owerri, Benin, Ikom and Uyo, Ibadan, Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Akure, Ado- Ekiti in the afternoon/evening hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 26-30°C.
