The Delta State Police Command has arrested four suspected cultists for initiating a toddler into their group.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the incident happened in Sapele area of the state.

In a viral video circulating the social media platform, the toddler was blindfold by the suspects while pouring hot drink into his mouth.

The yet-to-be identified child was seen shouting in video until the initiation was carried out.

Confirming the arrest, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, said four suspects have been arrested for the evil act done on the child.

Edafe said, “These suspects have been arrested for the evil they did to this innocent child.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda has ordered that they should be transferred to the headquarters immediately.”

Earlier in Ocober, the Lagos State Police command arrested five suspected cultists following a violent clash between rival groups in Onireke and Isashi, Badagry area of the state.Command spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the suspects, were apprehended during a coordinated operation that prevented further violence.
