
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Wednesday, September 7, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Sokoto, Kebbi and Yelwa during the morning hours. There are prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Katsina, Kano, Gombe, Yola and Bauchi later in the day. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 30 - 33°C.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudiness is anticipated with prospects of early morning isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Jos, Minna and its environs. Thunderstorms are not unlikely over places such as Jalingo, Kaduna, Nassarawa, Lokoja and Yelwa in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 25 - 31°C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Increased cloudiness with chances of localised rains is anticipated over Port Harcourt and Calabar during the morning hours. Isolated thunderstorms are not unlikely over the inland and coastal cities such as Lagos, Delta, Bayelsa, Ikom, Oshogbo, Akure, Ibadan, Enugu and Awka in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 - 30°C.
