In case you’re not aware, this evening’s soccer showdown between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Stallions of Burkina Faso at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, will be FOC (Free of Charge).
The administration of Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, is bankrolling the Grade A friendly and has announced venues where anyone in the Kaduna axis who wishes to watch the match can go and pick a free ticket.
As announced by Kaduna State Football Association chairman, Abdul Kadiri Mogaji, residents living around Tundun Wada environs are to collect their tickets at the Ahmadu Bello Round-about, while those in Kawo, Gwarimi and Amalali will collect theirs at Kabala Costain and those around Sabon Gari at the Railway Round-about.
The match is expected to be a thriller in view of the tough time the Stallions gave the Eagles during the last Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. While their first meeting at the group stages ended 1-1, the Eagles won the final by a lone goal to become African champions.
