Nigerian Navy upgrades capacity of officers for better effectiveness

The Nigerian Navy has upgraded the capacity of some of its senior officers, in order to strengthen its operations across Nigeria.

The Navy says the development comes in a bid to keep its ‘Operations Watertight’ on the nation’s waterways.

The Chief of Policy and Plans of the Nigerian Navy, Rear Admiral Jacob Ajani, expressed hope that the upgrade would enable the naval officers function effectively in keeping Nigeria’s maritime domain safe.

He disclosed that the opportunity was also extended to about 40 personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, as part of inter-agency cooperation.

Speaking at the command’s level session in Lagos State, Rear Admiral Ajani described the development as a great moment for naval operations in Nigeria. (Channels TV)
