The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition fortoday, Saturday, September 3, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over Sokoto, Gusau and Yelwa during the morning hours. There are chances of localised thunderstorms over the entire region during the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 29 - 32oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Ilorin, Bida, Lokoja, Makurdi, Jalingo, Bauchi, Kaduna, Jos and Mambila axis during the forecast period. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 26 - 30oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms/rains are expected over cities like Asaba, Ikom, Ogoja, Owerri, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Umuahia, Enugu and Obudu during the morning. There are chances of localised thunderstorms over the entire southern cities during the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27 - 29oC.
