Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta State, Hon. Lucky O.O Ukueku, has berated the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, declaring that "he has fallen short of expectations".

Ukueku, who is settling down in office following his election as Delta SDP Chairman on August 21, 2025, accused Governor Oborevwori of abysmal performance. “Many youths are jobless, and citizens suffer. Unlike the previous administration, this government's impact is negligible. Good governance is lacking,” Okueku lamented during a recent chat with News Express.

He advised Deltans to make informed choices in 2027, emphasising that “opposition voices matter and criticism fosters good governance.”

Hon. Ukueku urged Deltans to register and collect their voters' cards “to vote for a humble governor prioritizing infrastructure, industrialization, and free education.”

“Let's express discontent through our votes in 2027, as the current administration hasn't delivered on human capital development, youth empowerment, or impactful projects,”

Ukueku advised.
