Dear Governors of Niger Delta,
On behalf of the Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance, I am writing to express our deep concern regarding the utilization of federal allocations in our region. Despite receiving substantial funds for development and human capital growth, many people in our region continue to suffer. It appears that leadership has become entrenched in family and friends’ interests, which is unacceptable.
Unlike previous governors, who engaged youth and women through appointments, employment, and empowerment, the current administration seems to prioritize sentiment and pride. This neglect has led to feelings of marginalization and betrayal among many.
As President Tinubu has emphasized the importance of impactful governance, we urge you to do the needful. We request that you engage Niger Delta youth and women in your government, addressing the pressing needs of our region. The allocation you receive is substantial, and it’s imperative to utilize it effectively for the betterment of our people.
We hope you will take immediate action to rectify this situation.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Snr Comr. Lucky O.O. Ukueku
Acting National President
Niger Delta Youth For Good Governance
