Toke Makinwa: Popular presenter, Toke Makinwa gave birth to her baby girl in August of this year. The 40-year-old media personality took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 27, to share a video of herself proudly displaying her baby bump.

She announced the arrival of her beautiful Princess, Yakira Eliana, and showed gratitude to God for answered prayers on Thursday, August 31st.

Priscilla Ojo Mkambala and husband, Juma Jux: The beautiful couple welcomed their baby boy, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada. Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, announced the birth of her grandson on August 24, 2025.

Prudent Gabriel: Fashion designer, Prudent Gabriel and her husband, Peterson Okopi, also welcomed their first child this month.

Mercy Chinwo: Award-winning Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, also welcomed their second child, a baby girl this month.

Mercy Chinwo shared the news on Friday, 29th August, via her Instagram page with beautiful pictures of her pregnancy bump.

Georgina Ibeh: Nollywood actress, Georgina lbeh, also joyfully announced the arrival of her baby girl on August 8th. The new mum shared photos from her maternity shoot as she announced the arrival of her bundle of joy.

Lasisi Elenu and Wife: Nigerian skit maker, Nosa Afolabi, popularly known as Lasisi Elenu, and his wife, Nonso Adika, also welcomed their second child this month. The couple shared the news on Instagram. (The Nation)
