Several fans of Afrobeats star Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, popularly known as Seyi Vibez, lost their lives in a road accident on Saturday night while returning from his concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island.

The tragic Incident was confirmed by an eyewitness identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @alli_ya7, who said the victims were engaged in a car race on the expressway before the crash.

“They left the show and started racing on the express, trying to overtake other cars,” she wrote in a now-trending post. “Why race on the highway? May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS.”

Videos of the fatal crash, which reportedly involved more than four vehicles, have since gone viral online, sparking grief and outrage from social media users. (Nigerian Tribune)
