Influencer and entrepreneur, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, has addressed widespread speculation surrounding the timing of her pregnancy, firmly stating that she did not conceive before marriage.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the pregnancy was revealed on Instagram, with a photo of Priscilla proudly showing her baby bump and an ultrasound image.

Some social media users, however, raised eyebrows at how much she changed just three months after their public celebration.

The 24-year-old, who is expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, clarified that they had a private Islamic wedding (Nikkah) in 2024, well before their public wedding ceremonies in 2025.

In response to the growing online chatter, Priscilla posted an unseen photo from their earlier private wedding, stating that the public ceremony held in April was merely a celebration for loved ones.

She addressed the criticism directly, writing: “Womb watchers and calculators. Another confusion for you, this was the first time we actually got married after our private introduction last year.

“We were already married before the Nikkah we posted—that was to celebrate with friends and family members.”

Priscilla, who is daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, emphasised that the couple chose to keep their real wedding discreet and away from the public eye.

Meanwhile, Nigerian influencer, Enioluwa, a close friend of Priscilla’s, revealed in a separate post that the couple is expecting a baby boy.

The news has continued to generate buzz across social media, with fans and followers sharing congratulatory messages and expressing support for the couple. (NAN)
