2014 World Cup ticket hunt: Keshi, NFF unveil SUPER EAGLES KILLER SQUAD TO BATTLE MALAWI IN CALABAR

First choice goalie Vincent Enyeama and hot shot Emmanel Emenike are back in the Super Eagles as Head Coach Stephen Keshi and his crew plot the fall of visiting Flames of Malawi in next weekend’s Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying cracker in Calabar, South-South Nigeria. The two players, who were left out of the August 14 Mandela Cup Challenge in South Africa, staged a comeback in the 23-man list submitted by Keshi and approved by the Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

“We have accepted the list of 23 players and they will resume camping for the match in Calabar as from Monday,” Barrister Chris Green, Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee, told newsmen yesterday.

The Super Eagles need only a draw in week’s clash at the U. J. Esuene Stadium to progress into the 10-team final elimination round, where two-leg, knock out fixtures will determine Africa’s five flag-bearers at the Mundial to be hosted by Brazil next year summer.

For the Malawians, it looks very much like a Mission Impossible as the African champions have never lost at the U. J. Esuene Stadium.
