68-year-old Kay and Ablack, her 25-year-old Nigerian husband
A 68-year-old woman, identified as Kay, has openly shared details of her marriage to Ablack, her 25-year-old Nigerian husband, who is 43 years her junior.
According to The Sun UK, the couple, who connected on Facebook, are now revealing the intricacies of their unique relationship to ‘Truly on an episode of Love Don’t Judge’, detailing the scrutiny they face and the accusations levelled against them.
Kay and Ablack’s journey from a simple social media interaction to marriage began when Ablack “liked something” Kay posted.
Kay, The Sun UK reported, recounted how their connection swiftly deepened, stating, “He went from somebody who liked my post to my very best friend, I could tell him everything. It just kept getting stronger and stronger.” Despite having experienced three previous marriages, Kay admitted she was initially “very leery about being scammed” given the age difference.
Just three days after their first real-life meeting, Ablack proposed to Kay, making him her fourth husband. However, this swift engagement and significant age gap have drawn considerable criticism.
Kay has been labelled “crazy” by many, and the couple is being subjected to constant stares in public. Kay revealed that people have even accused her of being Ablack’s “grandma.”
Despite the judgement, Kay expressed her profound contentment with the relationship, stating, “I do not feel old when I’m around him. I feel very young, like a teenager.”
She further affirmed the depth of her feelings, declaring, “I’ve never felt love like this before. This is the one I’m supposed to be with, I just had to wait a long time for him to be born. He treats me like a Queen. I’m his priority.”
The geographical distance, with Kay residing in the US and Ablack in Nigeria, presented initial challenges. However, Ablack believes their union was destined, stating, “A prophet told me that I’m going to get married to a white woman and here she is.”
The couple frequently encounters negative remarks regarding their age difference. Ablack acknowledged, “Some people say, ‘she’s old enough to be your mum’. Some say, ‘you’re married to your grandma’, ‘she’s too old for you’.”
He added, “Anywhere we go, people take pictures of us.” Beyond personal insults, A black has also faced accusations of marrying Kay solely for a “US green card.” Online commentators have echoed these sentiments, with one YouTube user cautioning, “Be careful girl. Scammers can be “in love” too!”
Another comment read, “The prophet’s name is Visa,” while a third speculated, “Hope she has a lot of money to feed his whole family, why else would a 25 year old be with a woman in her 60s.”
Despite the persistent scrutiny and accusations, including suggestions that Kay is Ablack’s “sugar mummy,” the couple remains unwavering in their commitment to each other. (The Guardian: Text, Excluding Headline)
