The group disclosed that it has concluded arrangements to begin the battle for redress of what it described as “injustice and inhuman verdict of the apex body of the bench (NJC) against the courageous judge, saying that this injustice will not stand the test of time.
At the end of its 77th meeting, the group’s Acting Director of Information, Mr. Soji Oye delivered the outcome of the meeting.
“The group’s Chairman, Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman, noted that the group would fight this cause to the end by ensuring that justice was done to the courageous jurist, adding that this singular action of the NJC has brought a great stigma to the nation’s judicial system under Justice Mahmud Muhammed before the international community.”
He also explained that the group and “other well meaning Nigerians at home and abroad have also concluded arrangements to honour the courageous and incorruptible jurist of the season, Justice Olamide Folahanmi Oloyede with a book to be titled; “Justice Oloyede: The Heroine of Nigeria Judiciary.
