The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for July 24 Sunday, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated in the morning hours while there are prospects of afternoon/evening thunderstorms over few places like Maiduguri, Kano and Katsina. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 32- 35°C.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is most likely with chances of rain showers over Lafia, Makurdi, Jalingo and Mambila Plateau. There are prospects of thunderstorms over few areas of central cities in the evening period. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 26- 32°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning, over most places with chances of rain showers around South East. The region should expect isolated rainfall activities in the afternoon/evening. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of

29-31°C.
