Governor Uba Sani
By GARBA MUHAMMAD, Kaduna
Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has delivered two years of transformational and people-focused leadership, his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, has declared.
In a statement issued on Sunday, May 25, 2025, Musa said the Governor’s achievements would be showcased as part of activities lined up to mark the second anniversary of the administration on May 29.
According to him, the celebration kicked off last Friday with special prayers offered by Muslim faithful at the Kano Road Mosque in Kaduna.
A church service was also held at the United English Baptist Church, Borno Road, where prayers were offered for peace and progress in the state under Governor Sani’s stewardship.
Musa said the Governor has recorded significant milestones in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and rural development.
“He has constructed roads linking farms to markets, completed inherited projects, and launched a robust rural transformation drive,” the statement noted.
In education, the Governor reportedly built 62 new secondary schools, constructed over 600 classrooms, and renovated many more.
He also established three Vocational and Technology Skills Acquisition Cities in Soba, Rigachikun, and Samaru Kataf – serving Soba, Igabi, and Zangon Kataf Local Government Areas, respectively.
On healthcare, Musa disclosed that Governor Sani upgraded several Primary Healthcare Centres to level two status, equipped them with medical personnel and supplies, and is currently remodelling 13 General Hospitals across the state.
He described the Governor as “an epitome of peace and inclusivity,” saying he has worked to bridge the ethno-religious divides that once plagued Kaduna State.
As part of the anniversary activities, the state government will commission township roads and the upgraded Kachia General Hospital. A health walk is also scheduled.
Musa urged residents to come out in large numbers to celebrate what he called “two years of impactful, people-centred governance.”
