The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Tuesday, July 19, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are expected around Maiduguri, Potiskum, Nguru, Adamawa, Dutse, Kano and Katsina in the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the stretch of the extreme north during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20 - 32oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the region with chances of localised rains/drizzle over Jos, Bauchi, Minna, Lafia Makurdi, Jalingo and Abuja during the morning hours. There are prospects of localized thunderstorms/rains over the high grounds of the region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 17 - 31oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Mostly cloudy conditions will be experienced in the morning hours. Localised rains/drizzle over the region during the afternoon/evening hours except Lagos axis that would likely witness cloudy conditions except the Lekki axis. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19-30oC.
