Five persons sustained varying degrees of gunshot injuries when armed bandits opened fire on a moving vehicle in Zamfara State.

Zagazola Makama report that the incident occurred on May 5, 2025, when the bandits attempted to stop a Golf 3 car in transit. The driver, however, refused to halt, prompting the assailants to shoot at the vehicle.

Sources said all five occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries and were promptly evacuated to the Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital for medical treatment.

Security personnel who visited the scene have intensified efforts to track and apprehend the fleeing attackers. (Zagazola: Text, Excluding Headline)
