Ekiti Protest: How protesters were bribed with cash, bags of rice

The protest staged today in Ekiti against the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, was sponsored and used to prepare the ground for his possible impeachment, News Express has learnt.

It was learnt from an authoritative source that the All Progressives Congress (APC) sponsored some members of the public and gave N5,000 and a bag of rice to each protester, for the protest which lasted for two hours.

News Express learnt that N7.5 million was collected from sponsors of the protest as mobilisation fund.
