Rain showers likely today in Kaduna and southern states: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Thursday July 7, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: There are prospects of morning thunderstorms to affect places in the North such as Kano, Nguru, Damaturu, Dutse, Katsina, Zaria, Gusau, and Yelwa axis. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 33- 37oC.

CENTRAL STATES: This region is expected to be cloudy with chances of morning rain over Kaduna. Localised thunderstorm is expected over other parts in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28- 34oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: The morning hours are expected to be cloudy while there are chances of localised thunderstorm in the evening over the South East Coast and inland areas, and localised rain showers over the South West. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 31- 33oC.
