The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Tuesday, July 5, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Maiduguri, Potiskum and Dutse axis during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over Sokoto, Katsina and Gusau during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 33-34 oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the region with likelihood of localised rains over the southern part of Abuja, Minna, Makurdi, Jalingo, Yola and Lafia during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised rains over the region during the

afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32-33 oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cities like Eket, Calabar, Yenagoa, Ogoja, Obudu, Owerri and Enugu will likely witness some morning rains. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms/ rains over the region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-31 oC.
