The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday, July 4, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: There are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Maiduguri, Kano, Kebbi and Dutse in the morning hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 33- 35 oC.
CENTRAL STATES: We expect localised thunderstorms over the high grounds of the central states including Abuja, Kaduna, Jos and Mambila Plateau in the morning period. Few rainfall activities and partly cloudy condition will likely prevail in the afternoon/evening hours.
Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 27- 33 oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over most parts of this region, however there are prospect of localised thunderstorms over some areas of the inland in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Oshogbo, Akure and Ibadan during the afternoon /evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28- 32 oC.
