The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal today upheld the election of former Senate President, Senator David Mark of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The tribunal struck out the petition filed by Mr Daniel Onjeh, candidate of the All Progresives Congress (APC) in the 2015 Benue senatorial poll.
The former Senate President had asked the tribunal to dismiss Mr. Onjeh’s petition for filing outside the 21 days required by law.
