The Ministry of Works and Housing got the larger chunk of the N350 billion capital project releases earmarked by the Federal Government in the 2016 Budget, a Channels TV report said.
“Speaking with reporters at a meeting organised by the Nigeria Economic Society (NES) in Abuja, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Udo Udoma, said that other ministries are expected to get their releases soon,” the report said.
It added that other facilitators at the event also share the opinion of several other Nigerians that the economy will gradually pick up with the start-up of projects around the country.
