Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu
By PAMELA EBOH, Awka
Anambra State based Pastor of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi in Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu has declared his desire to buy the governorship nomination form of fifty million Naira for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma).
He made the declaration in response to the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form that was made public on Monday.
Uzukwu who expressed confidence that Ukachukwu will do well in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election, said: "I have said it times without number that he is an outstanding candidate who can give the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Soludo a run for his money.
"I have not met him in person but his antecedents speak volume about his personality, I have heard testimonies of how he has been using his personal resources to help people all over the place.
“It will not be a bad idea to appreciate him for what he has been doing over the years for people from all walks of life, by paying for his nomination form and other sundry responsibilities that may go with the form.
“I just pray and hope that he will give me the privilege of doing this, I will find a way of reaching out to him to formally notifying him of what I have in mind."
He noted that his plans to pay for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu's nomination form is not aimed at downgrading other aspirants in the race for APC ticket.
The priest tasked the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national and state levels to allow the wish of the people prevail in the party's primary election.
According to him, the shortest route to cut short the aspiration of the party to take over Anambra State in the November 8 guber polls is to impose a candidate on the party faithful during the primaries.
