
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Friday, June 24, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over most parts of the region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Sokoto axis in the morning. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28-33 oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Abuja, Lafia, Nasarawa and environs are expected to have localised thunderstorms in the morning. Chances of isolated thunderstorms over the high grounds of central states including Abuja, Minna, Bida, Lokoja and Kaduna in the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 23- 35 oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Rain showers are anticipated over the coast and inland cities in the morning hours. Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are expected over some places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket, Enugu, Oshogbo, Ibadan and Akure. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in ranges of 27-31 oC.
