BREAKING NEWS: Buhari appoints new IGP as Arase retires

A new Inspector General of Police has emerged. He is Assistant Inspector general of Police (AIG) Ibrahim Idris, from Niger State. He was until his appointment AIG in charge of Federal Operations.

A source close to the Police High Command told News Express: “AIG Ibrahim Idris is in the Aso Presidential Villa right now being decorated by President Muhammadu Buhari. Chairman of Police Service Commission (PSC), Sir Mike Okiro, is among top officers present at the occasion.”
