Grammy award winning artist Burna Boy
Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has kept his word by offering financial support to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer from Alaba Market, who claims to be the brother of socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
This gesture comes amid Burna Boy’s ongoing feud with the socialite.
Previously, the singer had shared a video of Okechukwu, highlighting his struggles to make ends meet, and pledged to gift him $30,000.
Okechukwu also revealed plans to establish a shop with the funds and promised to show Burna Boy the progress.
In a latest development, the singer has now fulfilled this promise, sparking joy and gratitude from Okechukwu.
Taking to Instagram, Okechukwu is seen thanking Burna Boy for helping him escape poverty.
Okechukwu, in the video, called on Nigerians to join him in celebrating Burna Boy’s generosity.
He said, “God is real, Odogwu @burnaboygram, God has used you to pull me out from poverty. I will be forever grateful. Please, people, help me thank him for me.” (Sunday Vanguard)
