The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) has celebrated the Director of News, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mrs Halima Musa on her birthday.

The group said Mrs Musa is one of their most exemplary and accomplished members.

In a statement issued on Thursday by AANI’s National Publicity Secretary, Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman (rtd) stated that the broadcasting icon not only for her outstanding contributions to national development and the Nigerian broadcasting industry but also for her humility, tireless dedication, and profound commitment to the ideals of the association.

The statement described Mrs Musa as an epitome of intelligence, diligence, and excellence, has consistently set benchmarks of professionalism and leadership throughout her life and illustrious career.

According to the statement, from being the Best Graduating Mass Communication Student at Bayero University, Kano, in 1991, to her retention at NTA after her NYSC as a State House Correspondent, she has exemplified integrity, innovation, and a selfless devotion to duty.

It reads: "Her numerous achievements, including the prestigious National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM), speak to her significant contributions to national progress, public service, and AANI’s mission of fostering a better society. Despite her remarkable successes, she remains a beacon of humility, inspiring everyone she meets with her gracious personality and dedication to excellence.

“Therefore, as you celebrate this special milestone, we pray for Allah’s boundless blessings, continued good health, and many more years of impactful service to humanity. May your future endeavors bring even greater accomplishments and fulfillment.”
