Nasarawa State Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development Hajiya Aisha Ruffai Ibrahim has called for total condemnation of Gender Based Violence against Women in the society .

She made the call Monday while briefing Journalists at the Board Room of the ministry in Lafia the state Capitalas the World marks this year Gender Based Violence Day.

Aisha who further called fora collaborative effort with the relevant Stakeholders in the state such as Traditional Rulers, media, civil society, Judiciary, Security, Religion Bodies and individuals contribute their quota.

?I am appealing to all concerns Organization to help reporting Gender Based Violence in our communities. Let it be in our Homes, workplace, Institutions, marketplace etc? She added.

Aisha however emphasized that Gender Based Violence must be eradicated in totality in the society.

The commissioner applauded Governor Adullahin Sule for the Implementation of Proactive Policies toward curtailing Gender Based Violence in the state and called women and entire people of the state to give the desire cooperation for maximum success for the overall development to strive.
