A mystery fire has gutted the College of Health Sciences of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Nnewi destroying a building in the institution.
According to a source, the building which is in the physiology department of the institution was totally razed by fire on Thursday.
Information has it that the fire was stopped from escalating to other buildings as it was immediately put off
Though the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, a senior official of the institution who confirmed the incident said that investigation was still on to find out its cause.
It was however learnt that the fire destroyed the building and some properties within it, but no life was lost.
